TOPIC: SATANIC INTERFERENCE, DIVINE INTERVENTION.

TEXT: ISAIAH 59:19.
EXORDIUM
God is actively involved in the lives of His people. In Zechariah 2:8-9, God declares that we are the “Apples of His Eyes” and that whatever touches us touches Him. This implies that we are the objects of His daily attention. No hair on our head would fall to the ground without His knowledge (Matthew 10: 29-31).
For every child of God there is a solid Divine security. Angels are encamped around us (Psalms 125:2; cf. II Kings 6:8-17). He does this because He knows we are up in arms with a diabolical monster called Satan (I Peter 5:8). Satan’s activities are everything but not that which will bring well-being to God’s people. He comes purposely to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10a).
Every single day, God seeks to neutralize the various poisons that Satan injects into humanity and to frustrate the various activities of Satan against His children.
God is a great Intervener but Satan is a great Interferer. When Satan interferes, God intervenes. It must be emphasized that Satan’s interference is lesser than God’s Intervention. By simple mathematical equation, Satan’s Interference is lesser than Divine Intervention while Divine Intervention is greater than Satan’s Interference.
Picture in your mind’s eyes a situation where someone, an enemy lurks around in the dark against an innocent person. Or, put in another way, someone is walking about unaware that an enemy is stalking him or her. As the enemy is about to strike, a greater force demobilizes him with a shout, “Stop!” and then rescues the one being attacked. This is the picture that Isaiah 59:19 paints for us and the message God wants us to appreciate. In no unmistakable terms, that was what had happened in the life of our Brother whose survival and deliverance as a result of Divine Intervention we are celebrating today.
God is actively involved and interested in our lives. Several Biblical accounts abounds where Satan had concluded plans to destroy but Interventions were made to stall his plans (Luke 21:32). Be rest assured that whenever and wherever Satan has set out to interfere with in your life God will Intervene on your behalf. In Matthew 15:13, Jesus said that God would uproot everything in our lives that were not planted by Him.
God is our ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalms 46:1-3). In fact, problems of life and Satanic interferences activate God’s Involvement in the lives of His people. There is a Rapid Response Approach to issues of Divine Intervention. God comes to the rescue of His servants so that they in turn will bask in the sunshine of testimony to His faithfulness (Psalms 50:15).
When Bible declares that no one who ever puts his/her trust in God will be put to shame, it is for this very purpose. God will never allow Satan take the glory that is due Him in the lives of His children (Isaiah 42:8).
Satanic Interference in some cases are as results of two factors: possessing Satan’s property (John 14:30) and being a faithful servant of God (II Timothy 3:12). In the case of the former, God may or may not intervene but in the later He certainly doe intervene! Every form of satanic projections and demonic manipulations would remain foiled by God. When Satan plans, God would frustrate (Isaiah 54:15-17).
Do you want God to keep intervening where Satan has decided to interfere? You must come into partnership with God. Coming into partnership with God is what sets in motion Divine Intervention in event of satanic interferences (Job 8:5-7). However, when we go out of His purpose, we make ourselves susceptible to Satanic interferences (Ecclesiastes 10:8).
“I will never leave you, nor will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5-6). That is God’s promise to each of us. Trust God. He never allows those who put their trust in Him to be to shame. God is our helper.
Psalms 20:1-9 is an important passage of Scripture, which shares in the joys of what God would do in the lives of those who repose their trust in Him:
May the LORD answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.
Selah
4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
5 We will shout for joy when you are victorious
and will lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the LORD grant all your requests.
6 Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed;
he answers him from his holy heaven
with the saving power of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.
9 O LORD, save the king!
Answer us when we call!
As we draw this ministration to a close, I want to leave you with this prayer:
May God expose and dispose whatever Satan has proposed against you!
May God frustrate every plan of Satan against your life, your family, your well-being, your business and job, etcetera in Jesus name!
May God Intervene wherever and whenever Satan has decided to interfere in your life in Jesus’ name!
May every force or retrogression and retardation that have held you sway thus far be broken and destroyed in Jesus’ name!
From this day onwards:
May God’s Reply be your supply;
May His Name be your Fame;
May His Glory be your Story;
May His Presence be your Essence!

Go in peace and may the Lord be with you in Jesus’ most precious name! Hilary Johnson Chukwuma Chukwurah
